In my Historic Knoxville collection, I seek to memorialize the past by integrating intricate details such as folds, tears, and creases into the paper. This was done to echo the weathered texture of old newspapers and photographs. These elements act as both a tribute to the city's history and a bridge between the past and the present, inviting the viewer to reflect on how history is preserved, forgotten, and rediscovered.
